Paper, Screen, Stone

I put my words in both places, on paper and on screen.
Both are temporary, fleeting as a dream.
If my papers burn, then let my thoughts be seen.
If the power fails, my book still stands, unplugged, yet keen.

Perhaps I should carve them deep into stone,
So time itself might read them when I’m gone.
