Some things are easier to write than to say out loud. Sometimes, the page is where we first discover what we need to say.
I created The Write to Sanity to give people a starting point for that kind of writing.
The website brings together my self-paced journal therapy program and What I Was Never Allowed to Say Out Loud: A Guided Journal for Finding Your Voice Again. You can explore guided lessons or begin with the journal’s prompts and space for your own words.
You’ll also find a coming-soon introduction to my memoir, Not What God Promised: What Happened When I Stopped Waiting for God to Save Me. It explores the beliefs that kept me inside an abusive marriage, what they cost me, and the life I began building when I stopped waiting to be rescued.
My work grows out of lived experience with silence, grief, and finding my voice. Through the program and journal, I offer room for you to explore yours.
